Art Gallery of Greater Victoria Volunteer Committee

The Volunteer Committee supports the Gallery by sponsoring exhibitions and providing funds to assist with art purchases and children's art programs.

Membership and Benefits: Members of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria are invited to join the Volunteer Committee. Volunteer Committee benefits include:

presentations and demonstrations relating to the arts

visits to artists' studios and private galleries

access to art-related social and educational events

subscription to our monthly newsletter, The Volunteer View

opportunities to volunteer in a friendly social and cultural environment

Our annual Christmas get-together with holiday refreshments and a Treasure Hunt in the Gallery.

Projects and Activities

Annual House Tour: Victoria's premier house tour, this annual fundraising event offers an exclusive look into a variety of beautifully designed and decorated Victoria area residences. This important annual fundraiser is held the second Sunday in September. We also have a number of on-going smaller projects throughout the year including our very popular art travel program.
