Organized by the Volunteer Committee of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, this major annual fundraising event offers an exclusive peek into a variety of beautifully designed and decorated Victoria area residences.

This year visitors will view a country estate, a city mansion, an elegant traditional West Coast residence, an ultra modern live/work home and a contemporary space built to accommodate a diverse art collection.  The homes also feature beautiful gardens and spectacular ocean views.

Since the House Tour began in 1953, it has seen sell-out crowds be inspired by approximately seven distinctive homes and gardens each year. The homes featured have ranged from delightful log houses to breathtaking modern homes. Setting this tour apart from others are the local artists on-site at each house producing an original artwork. Past artists have included Robert Amos, Ted Harrison, and Tony Hunt Jr., to name a few. The tour is a source of awe and enchantment for architecture buffs, discerning furniture and interior design enthusiasts, gardeners, art-lovers, and birdwatchers alike.

The House Tour is the single-most important annual fundraiser produced by the Volunteer Committee of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The funds raised support the development of education and exhibition programming at the gallery.
